Melinda Miller

Melinda Miller, a Maryland native, is a marketing consultant with more than 25 years of experience developing social impact programs that connect industry and education to help prepare students for future success.

Inspired by her mother, a teacher, Melinda has dedicated her career to expanding access to meaningful educational opportunities, particularly for students from under-resourced communities. She is passionate about creating experiences that spark curiosity, build confidence, and help young people realize their full potential. Melinda’s commitment to service began as a VISTA (Volunteers in Service to America) volunteer and continues through her work with community organizations to help all people thrive.

Melinda and her family were fortunate to know Mia and were inspired by her warmth, empathy, and unique ability to make people feel truly seen. As a board member, Melinda strives to bring that same spirit of connection and compassion to both her work and daily life.

When she isn’t working or volunteering, Melinda enjoys live music, hiking, and spending time with her husband, Chris, their children Kelly, James, and Luke, and their dog, Zola.
