THE BUNNY STORY
Mia was living at a boarding school that had a hobby farm with many animals including rabbits. She really enjoyed working at the farm and being near the animals. One evening when Mia felt overwhelmed and anxious, she went to the farm and took a bunny. Mia held this bunny in her lap and was able to calm down and relax. She said holding this bunny was the fastest she was ever able to self-regulate. This was Mia’s unique way of calming herself. The foundation uses a bunny on MFF shirts, hats, and stickers to symbolize calm. We encourage you to put the bunny sticker on your phone, water bottle, notebook, or other personal item.
When you start feeling anxious or overwhelmed, you can look at the bunny symbol and think of Mia picking up the bunny, putting it in her lap, and calming down.
