MENTAL HEALTH MATTERS
OUR MISSION
Suicide is now the second leading cause of death in young people aged 10–24.
One in five children aged 13–18 have, or will have a serious mental illness.
Many children and teens feel unsupported, lonely and are losing hope that things will get better.
The goal of the Mia Fontana Foundation is to reduce the number of children, teens and young adults experiencing the pain of mental health issues while supporting and providing hope to those that do.
