About the event

This 45-minute interactive social media presentation is intended for 5th – 8th grade students. It is delivered by Gabrielle Fontana and a high school senior student. The goal of the presentation is to build emotional resilience while using social media. The topics covered are:

  • Discussion of emotions & resilience

  • What is social media

  • Positives and negatives of social media

  • Explore Snapchat and how the app can become a chore

  • What are other ways to measure friendship quality
